Hi berjay,
You may need to check the computer since it is having issues even when wired. Like what you mention regarding motherboard or Microsoft.

Hi berjay,
Uninstall the driver. Reinstall it using the standalone. Check if the same problem. If the same, try installing it on a different computer just to test if it will work.

Hi James,
The driver works fine on another computer. Both computer are operating under W10. But, they do not have the same updates installed since I cannot connect to the Web with the one having the issue.
On the latter, even with a cable connected directly to the router I cannot establish the communication. The led on the LAN Port stays yellow at all time while on the other computer that worked the led is green. I concluded I might have a hardware issue with the LAN/USB ports when I use the wifi adapter.
What puzzles me is that I can read a USB (2.0) storage key on the same port used for the wifi adapter. Wtith the adapter even though device manager tell me its installed and functionning properly I keep etting the message that the driver might be faulty when I try it on that computer. I get the same even if I disable the LAN driver.
I might have to get the motherboard checked – but welcome any suggestion you or the community might have - that can explain why the LAN port would not turn 'green' even though device manager sees everything!!!
Thanks for your help and reply
