WNA3100 wifi upgrade help please
I am currently using the WNA3100 wifi adapter and I have recently started having lag issues while doing some gaming. Since wifi is my only option for internet connection I thought I would look into upgrading my wifi adapter to have better internet performance. One adapter I was looking at was the N900 because of its higher speed. One thing that confused me about it was that it says the speed is 450 + 450, can anyone explain that to me? thanks. I was also looking at the AC1200. I will be playing games such as Battlefield 4 and Tom clancys ghost recon with it if that helps. Does anyone know which wifi adapter would be better for me or can reccomend one that is good for wifi gaming? Thanks much appreciated
Hi David14712,
The N900 is a dual band adapter. It uses 2.4Ghz or 5Ghz for wireless connection. The 450+450 means the 2.4Ghz has upto 450Mbps link rate and same with 5Ghz connection.
