WNCE4004 How can I change the static IP

I do not have WPS so followed the instructions for installation without WPS.

Problem is that the device has a fixed IP (192.168.1.240) and therefore I have to set lan address on my pc to same subnet so I can talk to the device.

Followed all the instructions and set device up for my existing wifi AP which is on a different subnet.  Once I apply the settings I lose connection to the device.  At no point in the proceedings am I given a chance to change the fixed IP or "default" IP, so my first question is;-

How may I change the fixed "default" IP so that the device is accessible on my lan subnet?

Better, Is there any way I can get round the dreadful (evil) Genie and use a dumb browser interface?

Best, Can I SSL or Telnet into the device and do it all on CLI?

Hi James and thanks for the follow up. I am not yet able to confirm all is well. I am still trying to diagnose a problem which is not, I trust, due to WNCE4004 but by fixing its IP address in band I want to remove one of the uncertainties so hopefully I can pin down problem. Will post again when hopefully I have solved the problem. Thanks again. Budgie
