Glad you got it working. You can go to downloadcenter.netgear.com to look for newer firmware. You will have to enter the correct model number (i.e. WNR2000v1 through WNR2000v5). But, if things are working, I'd say leave well enough alone. Upgrading firmware, while prudent to fix security bugs, is never risk-free.

Thanks. I looked and I don't have a ADVANCED > Advanced Setup > Wireless AP option. It's probably too old. :-) Is there an update I can download?
Anyway, I set it all up again and then plugged it into a LAN port and everything works! Thanks The devices I have plugged into the WNR2000 are now connecting to the internet. Thanks for your help and quick response.
