Connecting to internet with Ex6120 (AC1200)

I just set up my new range extender (model EX6120 - Dual band extender) however everytime I attempt to connect to it (on either band), it asks for the security key, after it accepts it, it then pauses then notifies me of one of two things:

first is http://i.imgur.com/XooZ7NA.png Indicates "Some information changed since you connected. We need additional information to complete the connection" (Note: Have gone through the set up process multiple times trying to figure this out.) - when you enter the security key in again you get the same message.

The second notication is http://i.imgur.com/gU8Qt8Z.png - which simply indicates that it cannot connect to the server.

The range extender is currently plugged in roughly 1' away from the modem/router and my computer was on a desk directly above them and the setup indicated that it was completed (multiple times)

Would someone explain what I am missing?

        Hello Rxmichele

You will want to load the .chk file onto the extender to update the firmware. You will want to log into the extender then go to Maintenance then firmware update there you click browse and select that file. Make sure you are connected to your extender via Ethernet when updating to no corrupt your install.
