EX2700 n300 range extender

Question

I have an ex2700 router extender and have just tried to connect to a new router. However, it won't bring up the Web page to login. I have factory reset and checked the address but I get an error message. Can anyone help?

And it shows the the netgear_ext option?&nbsp;
did you try 192.168.1.250

I did factory reset the extender and it was showing the netgear ext but wouldn't connect to the website.&nbsp; What is&nbsp;192.168.1.250?&nbsp;

that's its default ip address if its not setup (as then the router would assign one)

Hi there, really appreciate the response but I am not the most tech literate.&nbsp; What would I need the default ip for?&nbsp; Should I input this into somewhere?

Hi Fraydumfries , yes, once the device you're using for setup is connected to the default Wi-Fi name of the extender you'll have to open up a web browser (Chrome, Firefox, etc.) and input the numbers on the address bar.
