ex6100 extender

Hi

Bit of a numbskull with these matters, so simple answers would be appreciated please!

 

LIve chat Netgear have set up my smart phone and wife's laptop to recognise extender, my laptop whilst acknowledging existance of extender to router will not open up connection and I cannot therefore open up Netgearmart set up genie even though initially before live chat did its work, it would. Any ideas why please and how to resolve or do I go back to Live chat assistance?

    Which operating system is your laptop running (OSX / WIN)? Please try removing the network profile and reconnect to the EX6100.
    Can you confirm that the wireless card in your laptop has an updated driver?

    You can also check if the EX6100 is running the latest firmware.
