EX7000 Extender is connected to the internet but says it’s not.
My Range extender is connected through an in-wall CAT6 patch to the modem/router two floors down. The extender is set in Access Point mode. The connected devices have internet and great speed, 100-200mpbs. The genie app network map recognizes the connected devices of both the modem/router and extender yet doesn’t recognize the extender/second AP itself. Not the worst problem to have I get, however the stupid basic web based access(mywifiext.net) for the extender won’t check for firmware update because it says it’s not connected to the internet? I’ve tried a hard reset and started all over, same results. Any ideas?
