EX8000 keeps losing the 2.4gHZ channel Hardware Version: EX8000 Firmware Version: V1.0.1.22
I've contacted support numerous times and so far I've unplugged, reset, and factory reset it. It worked for a day with factory reset but it lost the channel after a day. Do I need a new one or is it time to flash? I think when power is lost it causes it but I'm not sure. I have it on a UPS.

You have posted your message in the section of this community given over to Nighthawk WiFi Routers. (This is easily done, given Netgear's impenetrable community structure.)
You might get more help, and find earlier questions and answers about your hardware, in the appropriate section for your device. That's probably here:

when you're running your initial setup, try uncheck the "extend 2.4gh" box.
You'll still be able to use the 2.4ghz but then it forces it to use the 5ghz backhaul versus occasionally defaulting back to 2.4ghz backhaul.
2.4ghz is more sensitive to interference and much slower. So anything you can do to make sure it isn't using only the 2.4ghz from router-----extender and then extender----device.

There is no extend 2.4Ghz box. There is a disable 2.4Ghz radio which disables it but then only have 5Ghz available. I have devices that work only on 2.4Ghz channel.

What firmware version do you have on the device?
A number is more useful than "the latest". (It may not be by the time people read this.) There can also be newer versions, or "hot fixes", that do not show up if you check for new firmware in the browser interface. Is the Extender in wireless repeater or wireless access point (AP) mode wired to the router?
If in repeater mode, what speed is the link to the router?
Visit the support pages:
Support | NETGEAR
Feed in your model number and check the documentation for your hardware.
That page will also have any software and firmware for your device. We don't actually know very much about the problem you have. For example, you said earlier:
it lost the channel after a day. What is "it" and what "channel" are you talking about.
In other words, provide a detailed description of what is happening and what you see and you might get more detailed advice.
This helps to rule out things like issues with your wifi clients rather than the extender.
