Extending wifi doesn't work properly - EX6100

Hi all,

 

I recently buy a Netgear wifi Extender - model EX6100 - to improve the range of my rent room ( landlord wifi sucks so bad - nearly out of range ). I installed it and within the first week it worked perfectly but after that, both of the extending wifi doesn't work with any devices ( phones, tablet etc..) at all ( even though they have full signal + green light on the wifi router signal ) EXCEPT my desktop and smart tv, they run smoothly. I don't know what is the reason behind this, I have tried reboot and re-setup multiple times but the result still the same. Currently have my desktop & tv connect to the additional wifi and all other devices connect to the original one.

 

Please help me with this one :(

    Have you tried to update to the latest firmware?

      Thanks, I will try download later and let's see if it helps with the situation.

      I have updated the firmware to the latest one but still no use. The funny thing is, I used my PC to download the firmware and update it but when i tried to check to update the firmware online option, it tells me that i have no internet connection???, so I have to do it manually. My PC connect to the NETGEAR_EXT2. Please help.

      Anyone has a solution for this?? Should I try the customer support of NETGear?
