- WizardJLuminaryIf the iPad is the only device not able to connect to the extender, I would suggest first trying to forget the network. Go to Settings -> Wi-Fi, find your extenders network and then press the blue "i" symbol (or arrow symbol) to the right and then push Forget this network. Now try connecting to it again.
If no devices at all can connect to the extender, or if the above suggestion is not helping, then you should consider resetting the extender to its factory default settings and reinstall it. Check the extender manual for this, or contact Netgear support.
Good luck. :) - kbellAspirantThe only manipulation I was able to do to the ipad i symbol was push and hold it whereupon IP address stuff showed up. Resetting the extender to factory defaults did work though. Thanks so much for your help. I really appreciate it. :)
- immeAspirantI just got a NetGear R6200 yesterday. How annoying that I cannot print from my iPad.
This router says it's a wi-fi router and sure it works fine from my wired PCs, but won't work from my iPad.
Guess it goes back to the store on Monday.
I had a Linksys for 10 years and there was no problem printing remotely using the bluetooth function with that router until it succumbed to old age. If an 10 year old Linksys can do it, a new NetGear should be able to.
Why make things more comlicated than they need to be? You should NOT HAVE to connect a USB from the printer to the router. That's counterintuitive. More complicated than it needs to be.
