My wifi extender will not reset with factory reset button WN3000RPv3

I have switched internet companies and i factory reset to match and it worked fine but then the new internet company had to replace thier modem to fix the internet connection. Now i cannot pair to it. I have tried doing factory reset again and again but i don't understand what im doing wrong? i cant change the name or reset it. Can someone please let me know what im not doing right? or if there is something else i am supposed to do?
