N300 - Limited Access Only
I just got an N300 and followed the instructions in booklet. I plugged it in to the outlet closest to my router. I used a tablet to establish the "EXT" to my current wireless network. So far, so good. I moved the N300 to an outlet closer to my PC, which is where I'm having wi-fi issues.
Then I tried to connect my PC to this "new" network that was showing MUCH better signal strength. It connects, but only with "Limited Access," that is, no internet. I ran through the troubleshooting functions on my PC, no change. I downloaded the NETGEAR Genie, which showed no internet access, it attempted to fix, could not.
Now what? The only reason I got this is for improved internet access.
Please advise.

Hi jcaboose,
Which N300 WiFi Extender are you using?
Which router is connected to it?
Are both the extender and router updated to latest firmware?
Please try to connect to the extender network with your Tablet in the same area as your PC. Is it showing limited connection?
