N300 Extender Shows as Connected but "No Internet Access"

Hello,

 

I am installing an N300 Range Extender for my Father-in-law and I have been able to connect the Extender to the router using the WPS button and all lights on the front of the extender show as being properly connected but when I connect devices to the _EXT Network the devices connect but say there is no internet access. 

 

I have reset the router, surfboard and Range Extender and none of this has worked. Is there a common bug that anyone has seen an knows how to fix/workaround?

    Is your router using MAC address access control?  If so, you have to update its settings to permit devices connecting through the extender.  Here is a direct link to the extender's manual instructions.
