Netgear Genie

I installed Netgear Genie and attempted to remote via phone. Page Device list "Select a router to manage remotely does not show my router although it is listed on previous page Log in to manage I am connected via phone to my wifi router?

    Hi bouch,

     

    The Remote Login feature only works for NETGEAR supported routers and does not work with extenders and third party routers/gateways.

    1. What is the model number and firmware version of your device?

      Thank You Dexter, The Router is an Huawei HG659 as supplied by my internet provider and I am trying to use a Netgear WiFi extender WN1000RP. I tried to do a connect using WPS buttons and when I do the Extender appears but then is followed by no internet connnection.

      I have attached device photo's.
