No Internet Access on WN3000RP

Help. I have reset the WN3000RP and reinstalled and still get connected but no internet access. I have searched the internet to no avail. Any ideas? Firmware is current on both Router and extender.

    Hi pic_az,

    Welcome to the community!

    1. Please indicate the exact firmware version of the extender.

    2. Does the extender appear as an attached device on the router UI?

    3. Was it working before?

    4. Does the issue persist on all the devices that connect to the extender?

    5. Are your devices able to go online when connected to the main network?

    6. What is the status of the extender LED's?

    Regards,

        Hi Dexter,
I am still having the issue. I need to get the previous you asked for. The extender worked for years when I was using WPS for or security. Once I up'd the security I started getting 'No Innternet' on the extender. I will try and get info tomorrow. I remember it being the latest version I could download.
        Thanks,
        Joey

      Hi Dexter,

      In response to your questions:

      1. Please indicate the exact firmware version of the extender.

      1.0.2.64_1.1.86

      2. Does the extender appear as an attached device on the router UI?

      Yes it does

      3. Was it working before?

It worked when using WEP security

      4. Does the issue persist on all the devices that connect to the extender?

I only have one laptop that is wireless. I found this when I could not connect my Ring door bell to the extender.

      5. Are your devices able to go online when connected to the main network?

Yes the laptop and the Ring bell work fine when connected to the main router.

      6. What is the status of the extender LED's?

      All led's are green.

I just wiped the extender clean and restarted. This time the Genie app came up instead of an older app. I plugged all the data in and 'wa la' it is now connecting. I must have tried that 5 times last weekend to no avail. Is there a later firmware?

      Thanks,

      Joey
