Outdoor studio problem
I currently use a NETGEAR WiFi Plug in extender (PLW1000/PL1000) to boost signal from the router by our front door to the back of the house (downstairs). This works well for our needs (and provides signal for our Smart TV in that room) but we also have an outdoor studio and I'm not sure of the best way to bump the signal from either the router or the extender device out through the glass doors to the studio (about 10-15m in total).
Running a new ethernet cable from the router directly to the back is highly impractical, but there are electrical cables running from the house to the studio underground. The PLW1000 worked well in the studio originally, but I had to move it indoors when we got the TV. Can I just add another PLW1000 outside and bump straight from the first? Any thoughts or ideas very much appreciated!
Thanks.

Hi mattjohncook, yes, if the the PLW1000 originally worked out in the studio then that means that the electrical line is connected to to the main house which works well for powerlines.

Thanks Dexter. Does that mean I can just stick another PLW1000 into the chain? Or would I need a pair? Would a pair be economical / work? Thanks, Matt

Hi mattjohncook, both would work. I'm not sure though if you can purchase one that isn't part of a kit/bundle/pair.

Thanks Dexter. I did find one on eBay being sold by an electronics firm second hand, wired not wireless, but when I messaged them they said it wouldn't work. I guess I'll have to suck it and see. Thanks again for your help. Matt
