Pc can't connect to extender ex3110

Hi,

 

I recently bought the ex3110 extender for my appartment, and I am having a lot of trouble with it.

 

It worked alright for a while, but now it won't connect to my laptop anymore (asus). It works fine on mobile phones most of the time, and it works on a macbook air and ipad, but i cant for my life get it to connect to my laptop anymore.

 

I've tried a heap of different things, like using a manual DNS adress, manual IP adress, all the common ipconfig and netsh commands, i've tried deactivating other network card that might cause conflict, i've reset my network card, i've restarted the main router, i've restarted the extender.

 

I don't know what to do anymore.

    What router is it connect to? 

    Are you installing it using WPS or using the installation assistant?

      Hi, thanks for your reply.

       

      it's connected to a freebox, model F-GW06250C.

       

      i installed the extender with the installation assistant.

        I couldn't find much info on that specific router. Looks like maybe a single band router? 

        have you tried setting it up using fastlane mode with the 2.4ghz as the backhaul?
