Security configuration

Just configured the extender and it works fine BUT only if configured with no security.

If I configure it wirh WPS, I cannot connest to the network, getting the error code/answer "Unable to connect to the network".

I run Windws 10 Pro, version 1607, OS Build 14393.105

Any advices?

Thomas

  • Hello thowoc

I would make sure your router is set to WPA2 security and then factory reset the extender and try to do the extender setup again.

      Hi Darren,

      Thanks for your answer.

I've got it working after reset.

However, using the same password as the router didn't work.

I had to change the set-up to another password and it works now.

      Thanks again!
