WG302v2 - DHCP server - can't set gateway
I need to use the Access Point to issue IP's (DHCP mode). The DHCP client is disabled in this mode. The wired network point is connected to a router. However, if I assign the routers IP address, the unit locks up. I loose connection and need to force a factory reset to get it back. I even tried the default IP range.
Firmware was updated to the latest (5.2.9)
Wireless Clients need to access services beyond the range of the DHCP server, thus packets need to be send to the GW.
What am I doing wrong?
Settings I have used are as follows:
Advanced IP Settings:
DHCP Server is enabled
Starting IP address: 192.168.1.2
Ending IP address: 192.168.1.50
Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
Gateway address: 192.168.1.210

- jmizoguchiVirtuosoyou need to use different subnet on WG to dish out IP for client
looks like 192.168.1.x is your primary so if you want DHCP on AP then use 192.168.2.x - finluxaAspirantThanks!
That solved my problem. - jmizoguchiVirtuosoyour welcome... enjoy :)
