Wifi extender & password
Ok, so all of a sudden I couldn't get wifi so I reset the router and wifi extender, put in the password for the wifi extender network (which states it's the same as the router password) but for some reason the extender network says incorrect password! Does anyone know why and how I can reconnect to it again. I've never had any problem before.
The model number of the wifi extender is: WN3000RP
Any help gratefully received!

I'm having the same problem connecting to my WN2000RPTv2 extender. The extender is connected to the primary router just fine and the signal is strong. My iPhone recognizes the extender's wifi connection, but it won't accept the password. I'm using the same password I use for the primary router. Help would be appreciated.

Hi SomersetSarah,
Please try resetting the WN3000RP to factory defaults:
Press and hold the Factory Settings button on the side panel for 7 seconds. The Extender resets, and returns to its factory settingsPlace the WN3000RP in the same room as your router.
Then try setting up the WN3000RP again:
See page 8 of 32:

Please update the router to latest firmware.

Hi Diehard50248,
Please try the same procedure but for the WN2000RPTv2

After setting up the WN2000RPTv2, "Forget" the old WiFi networks on your Apple devices and connect to the new ones
