Wireless Printing Using WiFi Range Extender and Ethernet Print Server
I already have a NetGear EX2700 WiFi range extender. Can my PC connect wirelessly to EX2700, where the EX2700 connect to D-Link DPR-1020 print server (wired), to perform printing to a USB printer?
The diagram will be like this:
PC ---(WiFi)---> NetGear EX2700 ---(RJ-45 cable)---> D-Link DPR-1020 ---(USB cable)---> Printer
Your setup doesn't show a router. You need one to assign IP addresses via DHCP.
PC ---(WiFi)---> NetGear EX2700 ---(Ethernet)--->DPR-1020 ---(USB)---> Printer
|RouterYour setup may work without a router provided that the PC or print server are manually configured with static IP address.
