WN2500RP and Kindle Fire
After much screwing around I finally have the WN2500RP working on my network. The IPOD gets the maximum signal and I thought I was happy. The problem all along in trying to set this thing up was it does not like the Kindle Fire. I had to connect one of my desktops directly to the WN2500RP via an Ethernet cable to get access to the setup stuff. I do not have a wireless Laptop or a wirelessly connected PC - they are all connected via an Ethernet network.
Anyway, has anybody come up with the secret to make the Fire connect to the WP2500RP. NetGear support says that they can't help - it's a Fire issue and of course Amazon Fire support says it's a NetGear Extender problem! Help would be appreciated.

- Ken429AspirantThanks for all the help. I tried Netgear Tech Support on two separate occasions and all the support people want to do is sell you a six month $59 service contract to resolve the problem with the Kindle Fire, Netgear Extender and the SMC router. They've got an even better deal - $79 for a whole year! Rather than become a WiFi/Rrouter protocall expert I returned the Extender and will live with the WiFi reception from the SMC router! Not a good experience with Netgear.
