WN2500RP connecting issue
I've installed the Netgear WN2500RP correctly, I see the signal but none of my devices (iPad, iPhone, MacBook Pro and Apple TV) will connect. I enter the password and it just thinks but never connects to the Internet. Why is this happenings?

Are you sure you are entering the Wi-Fi password and not the admin password into your devices?
- AFG034AspirantYes, because when I created the network I used the same password as the main router.
- Is the extender establishing a connection with the router?
Are you using WPA2-PSK [AES] security?
Do you have a MAC Access List set up on either the extender or main router? - AFG034AspirantYes it has established a connection.
Yes that is the security I'm using.
I would assume the router has the Mac Access list since all my devices can connect to the router just with a poor signal. How would I do that for the extender.Hmm, your original post said that none of your devices will connect. Now, you say that they can connect but with a poor signal. Which one is correct?
And what do you mean by "connect"? Are they successfully joining to the Wi-Fi network? Are they obtaining IP addresses? Are they able to reach the Internet?
See page 55 of the extender manual for information about MAC Access Lists. It's disabled by default, so if you weren't aware that the extender has this feature, then it's probably not on. But if you have enabled this on the router, then there is some extra work you need to do to permit devices connected through the extender to gain access to the Internet. See the answer to question 6 on page of the manual.
- AFG034AspirantSorry, I meant to say that all my devices can connect to the MAIN router just with poor signal.
When I set up the extender and find the name ending in EXT, I select it and type in the password. All my devices just show the thinking circle but never connect. When I go to a web page, I get safari isn't connected to the Internet. Are you certain that your extender is successfully connected to the router? Look at the 2.4 GHz and/or 5 GHz lights on the extender. Green indicates a good connection, yellow indicates mediocre, and red indicates poor. If they are both unlit, then the extender is not connected to the router. You can also check the connection status by logging into the extender and going to the Status page under Maintenance. Make sure the Connection Status to Existing Network is Connected. The extender should have obtained its own IP address from the router. See page 32 in the manual for an example.
When you connect a device to the extender, does the device receive an IP address?
Do you have Access Control enabled on your main router? If yes, then you have to do some extra work to permit devices connected through the extender to reach the router. See the answer to question 6 in the manual.

I'm having the same issue here as the prior customer. Disappointed no resolution was found.
I shouldn't have this much trouble connecting and wish I could call someone.
I"ve established connection from my wifi router to the extender using the option 1 method (using the wps buttons). Using my laptop to connect to the myrouter name _ext_2gext, it connects but says "limited access". So I have no internet connection via the extender. Would this be a firm ware issue?
Please advise,
Sal
