WN3000RP does not connect Internet
I have a WN3000RP.
I want connect to a Wireless Router 3Com OfficeConnect (WPA2) and extend the signal. 3Com is wired connected with another router Linksys connected to my ISP. So the schema is ISP --> Wired Linksys (for desktop) --> wireless 3Com (for notebook).
Address of 3Com is 192.168.0.1 with DHCP (this is the router to extend)
Address of Linksys is 192.168.1.1 with DHCP
When I setup Wn3000RP it creates mynetwork_ext but at the and DNS and gateway address are 0.0.0.0 and IP address is 192.168.1.100 (default).
No internet navigation is possible.
I try to insert manaully the addresses:
IP 192.168.0.250
SUBnet 255.255.255.0
gateway 192.168.0.1
DNS 192.168.0.1
In this case the connection has yellow triangle (limited connectivity or absent)
WN3000RP is ok, I test it with another home network.
Any suggestion is appreciated
Thanks

- It might have not installed the extender properly. Try to hard reset it. You would know if it successfully resets it, Only the status light will lit green.
After reset:
1. HAve your extender and laptop on the same room where you have the router
2. On the laptop, scan for networks
3. Connect to NETGEAR_EXT, it's unsecured so you should be able to connect without any problem
4. Open a web broswer like Internet Explorer
5. It should redirect you to NETGEAR Smart Wizard. If not type http://www.mywifiext.net on the address bar.
