WN3000RP v1 compatible with Windows 10

Hi

Can someone confirm whether the WN3000RP v1 Wifi extender is compatabile with Windows 10.

I have a number of other devices running Windows 7, 8 and Andriod which have no problems connecting to the Extender and gaining access to the internet. But my new Windows 10 laptop will connect to the WN3000RP v1 but indicates there is no internet connection.

The firmware version on the extender is 1.0.2.64_1.1.86

Thanks in advance.

Stuart

      Hi

      Thanks for the reply.

My new laptop is a Dell XPS 15 (9550) running Window 10 Pro.

      Wireless card = Dell Wireless 1830 802.11ac

Driver version = 1.555.0.0, which seems to be the latest version.

I CAN connect directly to my Hub without a problem but when I try to connect via the Extender it shows 'Connected, No internet' against the Extender in the WiFi list. Which logically suggests it can connect to the extender but then cannot gain access to the internet via the Hub the extender is linked to. Obviously Windows 10 is doing something which Windows 7, 8 and Andriod don't do as they all connect without a problem.

I have tried disabling the FireWall and AntiVirus software but this did not make any difference.

      A bit frustrating!

        Hello StuartBarrett

Try to tell the Laptop to forget the hubs network and the extender network and try to connect again wondering if its sometype of ip conflict that is happening.
