Won't accept password thought Iphone

I spent over 5 hours trying to get Netgear extender to accept the password so my Iphone can use the extender. I have no problem getting my Iphone to accept regular Wifi just not Netgear. I am afraid to log out of my PS4.

    Hello Starch

     

    Is the extenders SSID the same as the main routers? also have you tried the main routers password on the Iphone when connecting the extender.
