192.168.1.1 IP Address does not work.

Question

192.168.1.1 IP Address does not work when trying to login and update the name of the wifi and/or password. I went to the routerlogin.net to search for support, but my serial number doesn't even register on the website. The Nighthawk App also does not locate my router/wifi.&nbsp;

you have the c7800?If so, try 192.168.100.1

If that doesn't work, what modem/router do you have?&nbsp;

Unfortunately, 192.168.100.1 did not work either (404 Not Found). 192.168.1.1 did initially work during set up, and then stopped after I got everything up and running.

You are correct tho, I'm using the C7800. Nighthawk X4S-AC3200 Wifi Cable Modem Router

It did not work. Was on the phone for 2 hours with a netgear representative, and all he did was ensure my wifi stopped working altogether. No call back either. I've decided to fix the issue myself and return the equipment today.

on the command prompt type ipconfig and it will tell you the default gateway(i.e. 192.168.x.x)
