Can't Get Gigabit Speeds on my WNDR3700v4 Router
I've been having issues with the WNDR3700v4 router we're when I connect my Cat6 cable to any port, then to my PC (That is capable of 1gb/s speeds) I only get 100mb/s speeds, and the router has the amber colour on that port (meaning it's 100mb/s).
I have tried changing my duplex settings in windows but the maximum is 100mb/s even with Jumbo frames. I also tried restarting while being plugged in to te router. I don't know what to do. I need that speed for streaming from my server, 100mb/s just doesnt cut it.
I'm not sure what else to suggest. One of the 3 is true:
- The cable(s) are defective
- The PC's NIC is defective or is not Gigabit speed
- The WNDR3700v4 is defective
If you are absolutely certain that 1 and 2 are ruled out, then that leaves 3.
