Can't Log in on Network Genie Login Page

I cannot logon using the Network Genie logon.   It just sits there going round and round.    I have used my Samsung Droid 2 with Network Genie and logged on with admin and my own password.   I can look at everything on there but come back to my computer with windows 10 and no logon.    I can't logon trying to use Netgear logon 192.168.0.1 or www.routerlogin.net.   Is there any way I can just ditch the Network Genie login app and just use the internet logon page?

Don't know what I did other than turn the computer off last night and rebooted it this morning.   Like they say "Even a blind squirell can find a nut" and that is what transpired in this case.   Appreciate all the responses to my problem and appreciate you all being here for us novices when problems arise.

  • You don't need to use the Genie app.  Make sure Windows considers your home network private, not public.  Otherwise, it may not permit you to log into your router.

When I attempt to use the internet login method "http://www.routerlogin.com/", I get the following reply,

"You are not connected to your Router’s WiFi network. To access routerlogin.com, your device must be connected to your Router’s WiFi network. Check your current connection and try again."     Man, I am totally lost and almost regret disconnecting my RangeMax with which I never had a connection problem logging in.

I'm not certain but there may be a bug with using www.routerlogin.com from a wired device.  Did you try using the router's IP address?

Also, did you check Windows for the public/private network status?
