Configure Router for VPN
I'm trying to configure my router to connect to a VPN. I'd like to use VPN for any device on my network which is why I'm trying to connect my router to a VPN instead of the individual devices. The VPN service provider gave me "PPTP settings" (a username and login), L2TP connection username/pw/ and secret key, and lastly what appears to be a URL for the server (they gave me a global list, I assume I'd pick a local one). When I log into NetGear genie, I struggle to find a place to enter this information. I do not have a "VPN" option under "Advanced Settings" as some online instructions appear to indicate, so I'm trying to see if anyone knows where to enter this information in. Thanks in advance if anyone is able to provide any info.
Kind regards, Jason

The router doesn't support VPN hence you can't see any VPN feature anywhere on the screen.
You may probably have to use a different hardware in order to use VPN.
The only VPN that it supports is VPN passthrough.
Note: The model number WNDR3400v2 supports VPN Passthrough

Thanks everyone. Sounds like I need to get a new router that supports VPN, which is unfortunate.
