I have a Zoom 5341J Cable Modem. I just bought an AC 1750 Nighthawk Netgear WiFi router. I hooked the router up to my modem last night, and all is well. This morning, after changing nothing, the internet light on the router went out, therefore the router provides me with no internet. Both through the ethernet to my desktop, or WiFi to my devices. If I unplug my desktop from the router, and plug it directly into the modem, the internet works and is fast. That means the router failed. I can not access the Routelogin.net on either the ethernet or WiFi. I turned off the router for 10 seconds, and turned it back on. It works now. An hour later, I'm playing League of Legends, and it keeps going out intermittently. Is this something I'm going to have to do every day?

How you updated the firmware on the router with the latest version?

I updated using he built in auto updated. Then when I was having issues I manually re updated using the file from the support page.

  Have you look at the even log of the router to see what if anything is going on just before you have your internet problems?
