New R6400v2 not recognizing ethernet cable; no internet connection

I just bought a new R6400v2 AC1750 Smart Wifi Router, and it worked fine the first day I set it up. However the second day it suddenly stopped working. I logged into the router's IP address and it said "No Ethernet Cable Is Plugged into the Router Internet Port" and said there is no internet connection. The Wifi LED on the router is on and my ethernet cable is plugged in, but the internet LED is off. A regular ethernet connection works in my apartment so I don't believe it's a problem with my ISP, nor a problem with the ethernet cable. I've gone through several steps to try and fix the problem to no avail:

- Factory Reset

- Updated firmware

- Ensured the "enable wireless radio" boxes were checked

- Tried different ethernet cables

30-30-30 reset

This is a brand new router (hence still under warranty), and it randomly stopped working despite no changes on my end. Any suggestions?

Thanks Dexter. I did the loop test and it appeared that the WAN port was not working. Luckily the router is under warranty.

      Thanks for your help!

        Hi Johnsamuel,

        1. Did you do the loopback test?

        2. Have you tried resetting the router?

        3. Have you tried changing the Ethernet cables?

        Regards,
