not able o change password for netgear router and not even able to change security options

Question

tried several times to change my wifi router password but failed to change

when iam trying to change password every time if appears unchanged even after applying changes

i dont even able to change my security options from wpa2-psk[aes] to other options such as none wep wpapsk [tkip]+wpa2psk[aes]

help me out of this if anyone knows how to do so..to change my option r else my password to anyother

1. What is the firmware version of the router?

2. Have you tried using another browser (Chrome, Firefox, IE)?

3. Have you tried using another device (Android, iOS, another PC)?

4. Have you tried resetting the router?
