Only one router
Have 6220 modem-router-wi-fi (wi-fi disabled). Using Orbi system to distribute Wi-fi in house.
Is there a way to disable D6220 router and use the more updated Orbi router?
Everything updated to latest firmware.
Thanks.

Ok. Then you should be able to configure the D6220 as a modem-only,
and configure the PPPoE credentials on the Orbi router (whatever its
model number might be).> Since I updated entire Netgear system 3 days ago, all 6 pieces are up

(easily) found the section whose heading I quoted above.

Connected to what? Are you using its DSL modem? PPPoA or PPPoE?

It depends, but you might visit http://netgear.com/support , put in
your model number, and look for Documentation. Get the User Manual.
Look for "Use the Modem Router as a DSL Modem Only".> Everything updated to latest firmware.
As always, actual version numbers would be more useful than your
opinion of what's "latest" today.- geofmillAspirantThanks for reply’s.
Yes, using dsl modem. PPPoE.
Since I updated entire Netgear system 3 days ago, all 6 pieces are up to date.
I already checked documentation and there is no listed method for disabling the router.
Looking forward to more input.
