[R6220] How to modify an existing QoS rule?
I intend to change a QoS rule for a certain device. For example, change the priority from high to low for a device with MAC address as xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx. The rule with high priority already exists and therefore, if I add a new rule with low priority, I will get the error msg as "duplicated MAC address". And the old rule cannot be replaced by the new one.
Any idea how can I erase the old one and set it as the new one? I only find the add button but no delete button....
Thanks in advance!
Hi zzy,
Yes, on that same page you will see the QoS Policy names on the list inside the "QoS rules" boxes at the bottom (Queue 1: Highest, Queue 2: High, Queue 3: Normal, Queue 4: Low). You may have to scroll down on the list of items inside the box. Once you see the corresponding QoS Policy name (Pri_MAC_XXXX), you can highlight it and select "Edit" then you can modify the priority level and click Apply.

Hi DexterJB,
Thanks so much for your reply! But the part I have problem with is "QoS by Device". See the screenshot below (I erased some sensitive information manually):
So there are only two buttons under this section: Add and Reset. (And this section is called "Add Rules"...) If I fill in the rule and click Add, it will be refused because "duplicated MAC address" while Reset simply reset the input fields and does nothing else. If I fill in the fields and click the button Apply at the top, nothing will change after a moment of configuraton.
Do you have any ideas for this?
Thanks!
