WNDR3400v3 Case ID: 27440470 I am really disappointed with the router as it doesn't have important feature to set bandwidth to scope of ips. My previous routers which were 1/4th price of netgear had this feature. As my router is connected to multiple devices laptops/pc/smartphones i need to set bandwidth to smartphones as they usually buffer youtube and youtube on wifi default plays at HD which inturn completes the FUP given by ISP. To avoid such problem i use to set 192.168.1.1 to 192.168.1.5 (which are reserved for laptops/pc)will get full speed 60mbps whereas rest ips which are smartphones gets 256kbps (youtube will play at 360/480p resolution which saves ISP fup. PLEASE TAKE THIS ISSUE IN PRIORITY AND RELEASE A FIRMWARE WITH THIS FEATURE. Or else un willingly i need to buy another router.Solved[R6220] How to modify an existing QoS rule?
I intend to change a QoS rule for a certain device. For example, change the priority from high to low for a device with MAC address as xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx. The rule with high priority already exists and therefore, if I add a new rule with low priority, I will get the error msg as "duplicated MAC address". And the old rule cannot be replaced by the new one. Any idea how can I erase the old one and set it as the new one? I only find the add button but no delete button.... Thanks in advance!Solved6.2KViews0likes5CommentsQOS settings not staying set on R6400
I'm setting up my R6400 that I just purchased and everything is going to lose except it doesn't appear that the upstream QOS setting I want for IP Phone is staying set. I go through the advanced menu and click the button in front of IP Phone then click enable but when I go back to look at the settings the button from the IP Phone is again unchecked. What do I do to get the rotor to accept QOS for IP Phone?Solved
