R6220 NetGear WPS blinking

I unchecked the wps pin configuration in the router settings that says enable pin code as described in a recent artice from netgear directly. Although the wps light is still blinking. So is wps going to stay on? just as a push option instead of the pin option to avoid brute force?

  • Hello Akateko,

    Welcome to the community!

WPS light will still be blinking slowly even if you uncheck the "Enable Router's PIN" and even if you push the WPS button at the back of the router, the PIN will still not work.

    Hope this answers your question.

    Regards,

Thank you for the response. Although is it possible to completely turn off wps?

Akateko If you're talking about the WPS light, there's no way to have it completely turned off.
