R6220 router-Epson Printer and IPhone show offline

R6220 and Epson XP-630 connection issues.  My Epson XP-630 is connected via wireless.  The Netgenie software show the printer on line for a short period of time then the Status shows offline.  I am unable to add the printer to my PC (Win10).  I have 2 android phones that cannot locate the printer using the Epson Print Enabler.  I have unistalled the enabler from the phones and reloaded it to no avail.  I have rebooted both the router and the printer with the same results.  I also have an IOS phone that also show offline.  I click on the "Refresh" Button, after scanning, both devices show online for a very short period the the status shows offline again.  My router has the latest available software V1.1.0.62_1.0.1.  I have tried turning off access control, also, to no avail.

  • I spoke to level 2 tech support. We attempted to reset the router as you had said. According to the tech and the responses the router gave us, there is something wrong with the hardware in the router. I will be exchanging it.

    Hi Efelch98908,

If the printer is connecting via wireless, then you do not need the NETGEAR Genie software/app. Just make sure that the printer drivers are properly installed on the computer you want to print from. Also, please make sure that the printer is among the attached devices on the router. You can do that by accessing the router UI via a browser then going to Advanced > Administration > Attached Devices.

The things you indicate are correct.  The other issue is the devices connected to the 2G wireless network cannot communicate with the devices on the 5G wireless network.

Both wireless networks used are normal, not guest, networks?
