R6300 Power Adapter replacement?

For a replacement power adapter, I understand it is a 12V 5a, but what is the polarity on the end? Is it Negative inside or Positive inside?

TIA.

A quick check of four Netgear adapters I have lying around says positive inside.

For an R6300 plain/v1, that seems to agree with the documentation.
(The R6300v2 seems to be more efficient.)

Doesn't the label on the adapter show this?  If not, then look
closely at the product label on the router  If that fails, then visit
http://netgear.com/support , put in your model number, and look for
Documentation.  Get the User Manual.  Look for "Label".  (Also
    interesting: "Technical Specifications".)

      1 I checked all documentation
2 little hard to check the adapter if I am replacing it
3 the router does not show this information, thus the question in the first place
4 checked their entire site, answer is not found on there, thus the question

Define "all".  Does that include the User Manual?  Where there's a
picture of the product label?  Which shows the polarity of the power
        connector?

Are you replacing it because it's defective or because it's missing?

Is the product label missing from the router?

        > 4 checked their entire site, [...]

That's just silly.  And you don't need to check "their entire site",
only the User Manual for the R6300.

I found it there, following the instructions provided:

              http://www.downloads.netgear.com/files/GDC/R6300/R6300_UM_18Jun12.pdf

Look at page 11, "Label", "Figure 4. The label shows unique
information about your router", upper right-hand corner.  Some
        magnification might help.

It's not complicated.  Try a Web search for these keywords:
