R6400 Missing Firmware Update

Got the email about the important firmware update, but there are no updates available when I checked through the router page.

My current firmware version says "V1.0.4.84_10.0.58," when I looked online for a manual patch the latest I see is "1.0.1.68 - Hot Fix."

 

Do I install the manual patch or wait for the router page to release the update? Confused since the current seems to be a more up-to-date version or wrong firmware.

    I did the update yesterday via admin router login, now my internet is really slow. 7Mbs vs 40-50 Mbs normally.

     

    Wondering if it was a malware email.

      Doubt it since it's an official email and a breach that severe would have been addressed by now.

        Did another router reboot and the speed is back to normal (50 Mbs).

         

        V1.0.4.106_10.0.80

    Anyone able to help with this issue?

     

    Can't contact support since my router is older than 90 days...

      Are you unable to login to the router directly, from a browser, using admin? When I did that, I simply used the UPDATE function and it went out and found the correct update (listed above).
