Will Amazon Fire Stick work

Hello,

 

Will my router(R6220) work with Amazon Fire Stick connected to TV to play media from Hard Drive connected to the Router?

    Hi Nishanth,

     

    Please check the Fire Stick specs and make sure it supports DLNA. If yes, then it should work.

      Thanks for the reply, I do have another query. Under router management settings through browser I can see there is an option to Turn ON/OFF Remote Management, but when I try to turnn on Remote Access in Genie App, it says not supported. Why so? Does this router model supports remote management from outside home network.

      Hi Nishanth,

       

      The Remote Management and Remote Login for NETGEAR Genie are two different features. Your device only supports remote management and not the remote login using the Genie app.
