FW ver. 1.0.1.96 has fixed SOAP issue
While for users who have the latest FW ver 1.0.2.24 (for Russia and China only), we are still investigating on this.
For those users who are affected, kindly see the instructions that I have asked.
Thank you!
I have this same vulunerability and haven't received any responses about my issue. I just wanted to see if there were any updates to a fix for this problem. My firmware verison is V1.1.2.12.

Any firmware updates for the WNR1000V2 to fix this SOAP vulnerability yet?

I have the same vunerability (as reported by Avast) on my JWNR2000v2. I updated the firmware to V1.0.0.11 but the vunerability remains; is there going to be any fix? Otherwise I have to buy a new router.
Furthermore, Avast says that my router is infected and my DNS had been changed - which is strange, because I switched them to manual (8.8.8.8) and dynDNS is off...

I have an R6100 with the same problems and warnings.
Are there any updates available for me??
I am still experiencing this issue with my router (Model WNR2000v3). I still haven't heard anything about a fix and I am growing frustrated with this. It was fine for a full two weeks before I started to get the same message again and I would like for someone to help me with this. I may just wind up getting a brand new router if I don't get a response about this. This is very frustrating.

Thanks Elaine. Looks like I have to download and install manually. The automatic updater doesn't see the most current firmware version.
I'll let you know how things work out. :)
