WNR3500 keeps dropping the connection

Every 4 or 5 days my WNR3500L drops the internet connection and the wifi-connections.

I run with firmware V1.2.2.48_35.0.55 (the latest).

When I switch the power off and on again the router works again.

 

Can anybody give me some advice?

  • Hi, it helped to downgrade the firmware version, as described above.

    I swithed off the settings to install the latest firmware.

  • is the issue both wired and wireless? 

    if wireless only - change the wireless channel - use NETGEAR Desktop Genie > WiFi Connect > Wifi Analytics 

    it will give u some recomended channel under Channel Interference tab

        If you bypass the router, will you get a stable connection directly to the modem?

        By the way, who is your ISP?
