WNR614 poor speed
Hello Team,
I am facing slow speed on my wifi router netgear WNR614 model as it is working fine if we connect directly from router to the laptop. Could you please check the reason for the slow speed of the router ?
- It works sometime and intermittently speed goes off. We can accept this as a temporary solution and I can walk down to any nearest service center for the hardware checks.

This is the wireless settings in my router.- And I selected channel 11 mode upto 300mbps
- As per hiteshah comment, I did change to channel 11
You can switch back to auto channel.
Can you tell me on your router if you can overpass the 300Mbps on the mode?
If yes max it out.
Make some tests and keep me in the loop!!!
- I switched back to auto mode on channel and 300 Mbps is the maximum mode.
I am getting intermediate speed on router like sometime I get 46mbps and sometime it goes to 8 Mbps.Is it better or worse than before the issue?

You can olso as the other guy pointed out to chage the chanel just to see if it worse or better I would try.
- I don't think channel change will work here.
The question is does the "atempted solution" suits you or not.
If not it's way out of my league and my little knowledge has reached its limit!
