Any idea if the charger can be switched to a smaller one?
Hello dear community,
I just bought the switch GS308 which works perfectly but I have an issue with the charger.
I live in a house and use this switch to provide the whole house with wired internet.
The box with all the ethernet cables and 2 plugs isn't that big but the switch fits inside.
Unfortunately, the charger (by its design) once plugged doesn't allow to close the door of the box.
Is there a way to return the charger and get another one (not one that bent on the side, one that follows the plugs holes direction)?
You can see the result in the picture...
If you have any tips, I'll take those !
Have a great day !
PS: Sorry if it's not in the right section on the forum.

They make cheap 6-12 inch power cord extensions that'd allow you to not have to get a new power supply.
Or even a rotating power plug adapter.
I'd go with one of those 2 routers.
You can always use a different adapter but you need to make sure the voltage and polarity are the exact same. it can have higher amperage but not lower.

Any power supply (charger) will work as long as:
1. The electrical characteristics match those on the label of your OEM unit. And,
2. The output plug matches the one on your OEM unit.
