  • Thank you for the quick response to everyone! If you know, can you tell me what do I need to get to extend my RS280 coverage ? I prefer extender with Ethernet cable.

Give a EAX80 series a try. I have one that I connect to my RS600 when I have it online. Works good. Just no 6Ghz on the EAX series.

Do you think my phone will disconnect from EAX80 and switch to RS280 when I go to the room where my RS280 is (if EAX still has strong signal) ? Currently, my phone is getting 40-50Mbps (stable) without extender in the farthest room (I am not sure if I want to spend $200 to get it to 600Mbps). Currently, in the room with the RS280 I get 1.1Gbps on the phone. I was looking at this MR/MS devices as more affordable option. Thank you for taking time to respond to my questions.

    I think NO.

The RS280 is a WiFi7 product.  Nothing in the Product Description indicates that it can be part of a "mesh".

The MS80 is a WiFi6 product which claims to support "Easy Mesh".  Alas, Netgear did not include information in the Product Description about "Network Requirments".

The MS90 is a WiFi6E product and is very clear about what it can mesh with:
