Certain Mobile apps not loading with Netgear Router/Spectrum internet

Hello,

 

I am using this netgear router for a while https://www.netgear.com/home/wifi/modem-routers/c3700/ and switched to a new internet service provider - Spectrum Internet. With this new service provider certain mobile apps like trading apps are not at all loading in wifi. Also images are not loading in Twitter mobile app.

 

It seems there is no any issue with the service provider Spectrum since the technician same multiple times to troubleshoot this. They suggested to change the settings in DNS with Netgear support/help.

 

Did anyone faced similar situation?

    My issue got resolved when the android OS got upgraded to Android 11.

    did you try changing the dns settings? 

    you can try googles at 8.8.8.8 or 8.8.4.4

    or cloudfare at 1.1.1.1

      Thank you for responding.

       

      Unfortunately changing the DNS settings to the suggested one didn't resolve the issue.

        I'm not sure with Spectrum's firmware (they load it for the combo devices) if it supports enabling/disabling ipv6. have you tried/checked that?
