Connection issues with Nighthawk x6 R8000 dropping connections

Just lately my nighthawk x6 will drop connections on wifi devices or at least it says it's still connected, but there is no actual communication.  I tried switching to another older wireless router I have and everything works fine.  I ran what I believe is the latest firmware update, and I'm not getting the issue resolved.

 

Any help would be appreciated.

 

Also wondering if it can be sent in if there is and issue past troubleshooting myself.

    what modem/gateway do you have? 

    what actual firmware did you install?

    After the install, have you tried a factory reset and a clean install (not using a backup configuration)?

      It's on firmware V1.0.4.68_10.1.75.

       

      I just tried re-applying the firmware and doing a factory reset.  I'll see if it keeps having the issues this week. I'll reply again if it still has issues.

    Still having issues dropping. Sometimes all devices will drop and the SSID will disappear. Sometimes only one device will drop and the device will usually say wrong password for “SSID”

    Anything else I can try or is this thing fried?

      try installing version 1.0.4.28 of the firmware. do it over a hardwired connection, factory reset and then do a clean install (not from backup).
