Do i need to update R7900 from costco
Greetings!
I was just told by Cox Cable that I needed to reset my r7900? that I had a glitch in it? do I also need to update it? I appreciate your time and expertise.

Good evening!
I was having trouble with the printer disconnecting from the router. When I called my cable company, they suggested updating the software.
Do I need to? Since I wrote that, I haven't had any problems. Thank you for your time and assistance.
